HOW TO GET TO The Blues at bridgetown

 

  • You can travel to Bridgetown by car, motorcycle, bike or horse!
  • From the North commencing (Perth): take the West Coast Highway or the South West Highway to Bunbury. Then head southeast towards Boyanup, Donnybrook, Kirup, Mullalyup, Balingup, and eventually Bridgetown. A lovely picturesque drive which takes about an hour from Bunbury, 3 hours from Perth.
  • From the South (Albany): head north to Mount Barker, west towards Manjimup via Rocky Gully, and then north again to Bridgetown, approximately 3 hours. You can also take the more tourist road going via Walpole. This takes another hour to hour and a half.
  • From the East (Kalgoorlie): head south to Norseman, go west towards Perth, but then head southwest towards Kojonup, Boyup Brook, and then Bridgetown, approximately 7 hours driving.

    For those without transport there are several options. Westrail have reasonable offers and timetables from all major country towns on the bus. For reservations - telephone 13 10 53.
  • There is also the Australind from Perth to Bunbury with a connecting bus to Bridgetown. You can pick up the appropriate timetable from your nearest Tourist Bureau (Visitor Centre) or Westrail offices. South West Coachlines also offers you a bus service from Perth via Bunbury to Bridgetown.
