2023 Artist Lineup

These fantastic artists graced us with some brilliant performances in 2023.

C.W. Stoneking

Returning to WA with his Primitive Horn Orchestra with his slew of awards, C.W. Stoneking has been praised as a ‘masterpiece’, spending years touring Australia and overseas.

Bondi Cigars

Rarely has an Australian band received as much consistent and widespread acclaim from critics and music fans alike as the Bondi Cigars. With half a dozen albums under their belt already, and over a dozen years of constant touring, this award-winning quartet have well and truly worked their way into Australia’s musical heart.


Their music is a unique fusion of blues, roots, rock, and a touch of folk, characterised by soulful vocals, intricate guitar work, and a driving rhythm section


She developed her one-woman live show while living in her van, busking on the streets and travelling wherever the wind took her.  A genre blurring artist ROSHANI moves seamlessly between blues powerhouse, soul drenched torch singer, folk balladeer to electro house diva.

Mitch Santiago

Mitch Santiago is a is a self-taught 17-year-old multi-instrumentalist from Perth. Mitch has released a series of songs amassing over 4 million streams including that of his new single.

Boox Kid

Fremantle singer-songwriter and producer Boox Kid is a proud Noongar man delivering unique electro-pop. He’s a cross-genre performer, starring as Wardong in WA Opera’s Koolbardi Wer Wardong, written by Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse and sung entirely in Noongar language.

Kangaroos with Machine Guns

New band Kangaroos with Machine Guns is a pretty wild ride through the desert, through the cities and way out into outer space.  Sounding something like the lovechild of Hank Williams and the Bad Seeds.  Comprising country-blues crooner poet Archer, Luke Dux,  Ryan Duxand Todd Pickett. 

Sunday Lemonade

Nomadic duo Sunday Lemonade traverse the spectrum from heartfelt folk through to powerful indie rock. Their songs provide a unique standpoint exploring observations of life on the road, friendships and introspection bottled up in optimism.

Minnie Marks

Minnie Marks is not just some blazingly electrified guitar playing freak of nature. She is also a rare and triple threat: Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. You’ve been warned. This absolute powerhouse is ready for any battlefield, be it a festival audience or a bar room packed like a can of sardines


From the start, the idea was to combine Zydeco with ‘Cat’ music – swing, jump blues and rockabilly, plus any other style that suited the line-up, including rock and roll, country blues, soul, R&B, Cajun and New Orleans R&B, plus a handful of Lucky’s and Kent’s own songs from the Dude Ranch song book.

Tracey Barnett

Bridgetown is Western Australia’s spiritual home of blues and roots, so it is no surprise that resident singer-songwriter Tracey Barnett has that music in her soul. Fusing traditional blues and country elements with modern rock rhythms, Tracey’s music has taken her across Australia, earning her a WAM Award, chart success, and airtime

Dave Mann Collective

Dave Mann with his raw passion and talent has performed all the major folk festivals and played with many legends. Dave has developed a dynamic slide guitar sound and style encompassing open tunings and electrified acoustic 6 string guitars that can go from subtle acoustic sweetness to screaming edgy solos.

Memphis Funk & Groove

Memphis is a group of highly experienced musicians coming together with the purpose of making people want to dance and have a great time with funk and groove music as the perfect genre.

Tommy "Boss" Bosson & The Score

Playing the Blues with Jump, Swing, a little heart break, tears and an empty wallet …..but always with passion, bring your dancing shoes for this one, be prepared to shake what your Mama gave ya…..

Louis Rebeiro & The Blues Machine

Jordan Mac

Australian progressive folk/roots artist JORDAN MAC has fast become known for his honest voice and virtuosic ability on the 12 and 6 stringed guitars, while laying Middle-Eastern and Celtic infused riffs over electronic beats and Latin percussion.

Rose Parker Band

Parker’s songs are a west coast road-trip with your best mates, the sun in your face and the wind at your back. Expect soaring vocals, swirling melodies, driving rhythms and atmospheric layers delivered by this folk-rock goddess. Ben Catley

With mesmerising guitar playing, huge vocals and a truly ecstatic presence, Ben Catley pours every ounce of his soul into his live shows. Having toured all across Australia, New Zealand and the UK many times over and appearing at big international festivals.

Two Dollar Dog

Known for their fast-paced swamp Blues, Two Dollar Dog continue to develop and evolve their sound and stage presence. Their energy is real, their sound is unique and their willingness to entertain is second to none.

Jook Joint Band

Join the Jook Joint Band for a session of old time jug band roots and toe tappin’ dancing blues, skiffle, ragtime and rockabilly music with a twist! The Jook Joint Band play songs with a toe tapping and infectious jumpin’ dance beat using a variety of instruments and of course jug!

Gospel Blues

Admired for her distinctive deep, melodic voice, Mary Myfanwy has released three albums, From A Warm Room, Of The Heart and The Deepest, and regularly performs throughout the South-West.  Join Daun Crozier, Esther Victoria and Mary for a memorable Gospel Blues performance.

The Southwest Blues Club

The South West Blues Club is dedicated to keeping the Blues alive. We actively encourage musicians at all levels of competence to play and enjoy playing live music. We stage musical events in the South West in an effort to showcase great music and give local and visiting musicians a platform to perform on.

Jack Botts

A breath of fresh air in the Australian music industry. A singer/songwriter from Brisbane who creates a brand of surf-folk drenched in depth and substance, Jack’s sound is perfect for bringing those coastal road trip vibes to life.

Sweet Talk

Sweet Talk are renowned for their high-energy live shows readily whipping unsuspecting punters into frenzied states of boogie and unabashed song at the drop of a hat. 

Blue Shaddy

Frank Sultana

Frank Sultana is a modern-day Australian bluesman. Dripping with a pre-WW2 mojo, dark, dirty guitar tones and a voice that has the grit and soul of the characters and places he writes and sings about.

Little Quirks

Little Quirks humble beginnings quickly evolved into a fully-fledged teenage touring band, the trio discovering a knack for effortless folk-pop songwriting that unashamedly brings catchy melodies and pounding rhythms to the fore.

Wil Thomas & The Riding Light

A dusty blend of folk and rock, with a nod towards the blues, Wil Thomas is a journey man and a storyteller, a laconic troubadour and the kind of artist you yearn to have at your fireside…

Grant Haua & The Soul Decree

Accompanied by WA’s own The Soul Decree: John Wilson on Bass Guitar, Marcus Tromp on Drums and the captivating support vocals of Elise Lux. This ‘Salt of the Earth’ humble guy leaves nothing behind on stage after every performance. Grant Haua delivers diversity in Soul and Blues/Rock like no other, from acoustic ballads to grinding foot stomping make ya heels burn music.

Smokestack Rhino

The band’s electric live show reaches new heights. Singer-guitarist Ash King is a whirlwind with resonator guitar in hand, his earthy vocals reaching from deep lows to highs, drummer Matt Berg pushes the band forward from behind the kit and bassist Shane Andison stays rock solid, holding the whole thing together with an infectious, catchy groove.

Jesse Redwing

Jesse Redwing has honed his chops in smoky juke joints all over the world for damn near two decades now. On top of touring Europe and the US with the Jesse Redwing Band, Jesse’s honest, down-to-earth playing is guaranteed to fill your cup with his contemporary take on the timeless soulful sounds of the blues legends.

Rick Steele

Rick Steele is one of the most charismatic and amiable characters in the music business. With a set of vocal chords to match his name and countless humorous stories and observations of life, he is an evening’s entertainment in his own right.

Chicago Blues Review

Chicago Blues Review are a comparatively new Blues Band on the Western Australian blues scene. They perform a tribute to the greats of the Chicago Blues scene of the 1950s and 60s, including the Golden Era of Chess Records.

The Nomadics

The Nomadics are true musical alchemists, bestowing the world with a much-needed blend of vulnerability and courage. Their deep love for the world and each other resonates through their stunning harmonies, drawing listeners in with an irresistible charm.

Howling Onshore

Howling Onshore are an energetic Blues and Roots group with a love of music and desire to make people dance. With guitars, strong vocals, the sax, harmonica and driving riffs, the band is described as a “runaway train of energy… that gets the joint rocking”.

The Human Highway

Formed for the Newport Record Club series in Fremantle to play the songs of one of the most influential and idiosyncratic singer/songwriters of our time, the‘ Human Highway’ is fronted by long time lovers of Neil Young, David Hyams and Rose Parker.

Martin Lee Cropper

Martin Lee Cropper is a classic hill Country Bluesman with a deep love & respect for the artists who gave me this great gift through the study of their wonderful old recordings.

The Riverbugs

Riverbugs is a jazz swing quartet local to Margaret River. Our repertoire grew and expanded from Jazz swing to latin, blues and RnB with tunes spanning across the eras and genres from Ella, to Aretha Franklin, Etta James and the odd Carol King number!

David Hyams

David Hyams is an accomplished Fremantle based producer, singer-songwriter and instrumentalist with a long history in the Australian music scene, playing electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin, dobro, bass and bouzouki and is equally comfortable across many genres.


Tanya Ransom

Tanya Ransom weaves her signature sound of folk blues and alt country, pulling heavy on the heart strings. Ransom’s natural talent with words and melody, delivered by an effortless bluestone voice accompanies the laid-back guitar perfectly.

The Whiskey Nips

The Whiskey Nips are a 5-piece band with a reputation for amazing audiences with their high energy swinging soulful blues. The band made their Bridgetown debut in 2021 to a rapturous response.

Lachy John & The Redbellies

Electric Fremantle five-piece, Lachy John And The Red Bellies, have been honing their craft on the WA scene for the past two years. Front man, Lachy John’s emotionally charged lyrics entwine with the band’s raw musicianship to make for an invigorating live performance that captivates and enraptures their audiences.

The Perth Blues Club

A non-profit community organisation run by volunteers. It was established in 1992 to promote local, national and international Blues acts and draw together The Perth Blues Club provides a relaxed atmosphere for enthusiasts to meet on a regular basis and enjoy live music in Perth.

The Hills Blues Club

Blues ConFusion are set to show their unique brand of original blues on behalf of the Hills Blues Club on the Street stage at the 2023 Blues at Bridgetown festival. Formed in 2013, Blues ConFusion can trace its roots back to the beginnings of the Hills Blues Club.

The Albany Blues Club

Born out of the jam nights of the legendary Blues Train sessions and as the house band at ‘Blues & Brews’ nights throughout Albany venues – the Southern Right Blues Band have carved out a deep blue niche in the Great Southern and are stoked to represent the Albany Blues Club at the Blues at Bridgetown Festival this year!
