Andrew Winton
For years multiple award-winning Andrew Winton was a WA favourite at Bridgetown Blues before taking a break from the industry. Andrew has toured the US multiple times, including an invitation to play SXSW in Austin Texas. Andrew has also played many national festivals since the early 2000s. Playing his double neck, 13 string lap slide carved from a cypress tree root from the deep south of the US, Andrew plays various forms of blues, with high musicianship, driving rhythms, memorable songwriting and humour for an always engaging audience experience. He has supported Harry Manx, Ash Grunwald, Jeff Lang, Diesel, Birds Of Tokyo,10 CC, Beasts of Burden and many others over the years.
Azure Ryder
Through the eyes of Azure Ryder nothing is more forever than stories. Since the emergence of her first EP ‘Running With The Wolves’ she unravelled us with her uniquely beautiful tone that effortlessly carried her disarming way with words. This garnered much early praise that the Sydney born singer/songwriter was undeniably born with music in her veins. Azure’s particularly enchanting craft is honed in the energetic and natural world, in which she continued to honour through her following second and third Eps. This earthy and spiritual undercurrent in harmony with her emotionally stirring lyricism casts a true spell, placing her in the linage of great female singer songwriters, from Stevie Nicks to Joni Mitchell. With a voice that sweeps like a bird on the breeze, it’s clear the Australian- Lebanese Songstress grasps the ability to warm into our hearts like honey.
Ben Catley
With mesmerising acoustic guitar playing and an ecstatic stage presence, Ben Catley pours every ounce of his soul into his live show. Having toured all across Australia, New Zealand and the UK many times over, he captivates audiences like few other solo artists. Ben has played huge international festivals with the likes of The Doobie Brothers, John Butler, Xavier Rudd, Jessie J, Groove Armada and many more, and in WA is also often found performing shows with Si Mullumby, who is widely regarded as one of the world’s best didge players. Having released tracks featuring the voice of the legendary WIM HOF, as well as Ash Grunwald and Tijuana Cartel, Ben’s music catalogue is as diverse as his live show. While mostly known for his high energy acoustic roots/blues/folk/rock style, he has recently been releasing collections of chilled, finger-style guitar instrumentals ‘Cloudcabins’, that he has weaved into his live set, creating a dynamic show of guitar craftsmanship. “A tour de force of contemporary acoustic guitar styles. Blackwood Rising
Two blokes, guitars and drums. A finely balanced and nuanced relationship forged on a mutual love of music spiced by utter contempt for each other, offset by an abiding musical brotherhood and grudging respect (and a healthy sense of humour) that only two decades of playing together can achieve. Fingerpicking and some bottleneck slide, a mix of covers and originals, alternate tunings, an octave pedal, a drumkit hit like it owes money and a disdain for technology is their thing
Blue Shaddy
West Australian four piece Blue Shaddy are a family band that seem to fit more into one song than some do in a two hour set. Hot and sweaty and dripping with juice. With a chemistry that can only be put down to kin. Blue Shaddy are a high energy ‘Blues, Rock band with a slight dash of country. Bass player Sandy, and drummer Dean, hold down a solid tight rhythm section, while brothers, Jim on guitar and vocals, and Belly on harmonica, have the freedom to go head to head, as brothers do in a flurry of musical emotion. Taking you from funky dance grooves, to a whiskey soaked cigar lounge, then winding up in a, all in haystack hoedown with Belly moving like a cat on a hot tin roof. ‘Blue Shaddy have independently released four studio albums to date. ‘Blue Shaddys’ first album being showcased in the U.S through ‘Tin Records’ and the song ‘Howling Dog’ making it onto ‘Tin Records’ 2007 compilation album. The song also ‘Howling Dog’ also being used on MTV’s T.V series ‘Wildboyz’ The follow up to ‘jackass’ staring ‘Steve O’.
Charlie Youngson Trio
WAM award nominated songwriter Charlie Youngson is a young, Bridgetown based multi-instrumentalist whose set consists of fast paced guitar work, silky vocals and catchy grooves. He has opened for artists including Vika and Lynda bull, Kim Churchill and blues legend Ash Grunwald, all of whom are huge inspirations for his blues-folk style. He has played at Nannup Music Festival, The Blues and won the Fairbridge Song Quest as well as playing over 70 shows in 2024. From busking on the streets of the festival at age 10, to now be an official artist once again, Charlie is forever grateful for the inspiration and opportunities that the Blues at Bridgetown has given him. This year, Charlie returns with his trio to elevate his high energy, huge blues sound. See you there!
Chris Cavill
Chris Cavill is redefining the live music experience with his memorable, high-energy performances and deeply personal songwriting. Over the past year, he has wowed audiences at some of Australia’s most beloved festivals and venues, with fans flocking to witness the unforgettable chemistry he shares with his young sons on stage. Together, they create a heartwarming dynamic, blending Chris’s resonant voice and poetic lyrics with the raw joy and talent of his boys. This beautiful connection has earned rave reviews, leaving audiences inspired and longing for more. Dolce Blue
Originating from Kalamunda, Western Australia, Dolce Blue (pronounced Dolchay Blue) emerges as a blues-tinged alt-pop/indie-rock quartet comprised of high school mates who have been captivating listeners with their infectious songwriting, intimate lyricism, and polished guitar melodies. Drawing comparisons to the dreamy sounds of Alvvays, Best Coast, and Australian pioneers such as San Cisco and Ball Park Music, Dolce Blue's releases have garnered attention, featuring among RTRFM's most-played songs from 2020 to 2023, receiving national airplay on Triple J and Unearthed, been nominated in Happy Mag’s ‘Needle in The Hay’ and WAM (West Australian Music) ‘Song of The Year’ awards, and the band has shared stages with the likes of Eliza & the Delusionals, Sly Withers, TOWNS, Dear Seattle, Shag Rock, Noah Dillon, Didirri, and Little Quirks. Following on from 2019’s debut album ‘Forever is Too Long’ and 2020’s EP ‘Always Blue’ the band signed to WAM (West Australian Music) 2x Independent Label of the Year winners, Blue Grey Pink, releasing singles in 2021 and 2022 in the lead up to their album 'Sweet Melancholy' in 2023, which saw the band embarked on a national tour (Perth, regional WA, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide), including an unofficial showcase at BIGSOUND 2023 in Brisbane. 2024 has seen the band unveil their critically acclaimed 20-track extended album release ‘Sweet Melancholy Deluxe’, which boosted their monthly listeners to 10k on Spotify alone; Vents Magazine describing Dolce Blue as “a special songwriting force, the band manages to capture melancholy like no other. Coterie
A band of four brothers, Coterie encompass an authenticity often lost in modern music, their records telling lyrical stories drawn from real-life experience and using melodically rich vocals to bring a raw narrative heat to the songs. Immersed in a world of surf and art, the band has developed a unique blend of soulful rock music with perfect four-part harmonies that have audiences demanding more. Coterie have enjoyed sold-out headline shows across Australia and New Zealand, their live performance harnessing a lifetime of musical connection, evoking feelings that only 15 years of playing together can create.
Emily Barker
The first song Emily Barker recorded for her latest record, Fragile as Humans, was its title track. To capture the “hyper-real recording” he desired, producer Luke Potashnick surrounded Barker with microphones at The Wool Hall, an impressive sixteenth century stone building converted into a studio by Tears For Fears in the early ’80s. She accompanied herself on Potashnick’s 1938 Gibson L37 archtop guitar. They recorded six takes, but the first was the best. Written and recorded as her time living in the UK was coming to a close, Fragile as Humans sees Barker turn her lyrical gaze inwards. The expansive themes of her previous album, A Dark Murmuration of Words (released 2020), are replaced by an empathetic concern for matters more personal, familial, closer to home.
Finn Alexander and the Forever Party

Eugene "Hideaway" Bridges
Born in New Orleans, Eugene ‘Hideaway’ Bridges is a nomadic musician living his life on the road. His home is wherever the next performance takes him, and every year this is from the US through Europe, to Australia with many other stops in between. A towering man with a huge voice, playing an unparalleled brand of blues, Eugene oozes enough genuine charm to light up a small city. ‘His instrumental prowess, lyrical and musical vision, and passionate and emotional commitment results in a refreshingly adult set full of joy and meaning.’ – Living Blues Magazine
Frank Sultana Band
Since his historic win at the 2023 Memphis International Blues Challenge Frank Sultana has cemented his place in Australian blues folklore. He is only the third Australian to win the most prestigious blues competition in the world in its 42 year history, and he is now a regular US visitor playing various festivals including the Big Blues Bender in Las Vegas, and the Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise among others Before the world discovered him, Frank has been a consistent and popular Australian Blues act, releasing some 12 albums and 4 EPs since his debut in 2011. He has graced the stages of every blues roots festival in the country and headlines his own shows right around Australia selling out wherever he goes. His band features Dan Sullivan on harp, Stan Mobbs on bass and Adrian Herbert on drums and is a dark swampy take on his solo original music

Great Gable

Jack Botts
Jack Botts is a breath of fresh air out of the Northern Rivers of NSW. His music is a melting pot of sound & experience, drenched with the depth and substance of surf, folk, country and pop. Jack’s fervent following has exploded over the past five years, his chilled catalogue dripping with emotion and connecting with fans globally, exceeding 100 million streams. This growth was further consolidated with the release of his debut album 'Sucker For Sunsets' in March 2023, a heartwarming 12-song album that melds his rich, acoustic-driven musicality with intimate and reflective lyrics, taking listeners on a life-changing journey. Jason Ayres Band
From the dust and grit of Western Australia, Jason Ayres is a modern troubadour, bridging the gap between classic sounds and contemporary vibes with a unique ability to connect across genres and generations. Blending alternative country, Americana, and rock influences, Ayres brings a gentle magnetism to the stage and a sound that sticks with you long after the final guitar riff rings out. With his music taking cues from the storytelling mastery of John Mayer, emotional depth of Ryan Adams, and textural tones of Keith Urban, Ayres transforms raw life experiences into anthems that resonate. Jeff Lang
Melbourne based guitarist-songwriter-vocalist-producer, Jeff Lang has built a reputation for making startling music that is accomplished, intricate, gutsy, melodic and loaded with soul. Often taking unexpected turns, he has consistently inspired his audiences by creating a stylistically diverse catalogue over 32 albums. As many journalists have written over the years, Jeff is not one to be easily pegged, though in a general sense it’s fair to say he largely trades in roots-oriented rock; wider reaching in collaborations with the likes of roving guitar anthropologist Bob Brozman, American blues-rocker Chris Whitley, India’s desert-dwellers Maru Tarang and world music virtuosos Bobby Singh and Mamadou Diabate. Jeff’s work with the latter won the 2010 ARIA for Best World Music Album, while he and Brozman took one home for Best Blues and Roots Music Album in 2002. Jeff received his third ARIA in 2012 for the album ‘Carried In Mind’. In 2021 Jeff published his first book – “Some Memories Never Die” – a memoir of three decades on the road; Memories of gigs where the pay was akin to blood money, reflections on how the road’s twists and turns can be lightened by the presence of fellow travellers and occasionally darkened by them too. Never one to stand still - in the face of some of the longest lockdowns in the world - Jeff devised a new project at home with his partner Alison Ferrier. That project, High Ace, released their debut album in 2022 and Jeff also released an album of instrumental 12 string guitar music in May 2023. Jeff’s most recent release – More Life – is a deluxe double album featuring co-writing and performing collaborations with John Butler, Don Walker, Liz Stringer, William Crighton, Suzannah Espie, Fred Leone, Hat Fitz & Cara, Asin Khan Langa & includes guest appearances from Bassekou Kouyate and Debashish Bhattacharya.
Karen Lee Andrews
For over 20 years singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Karen Lee Andrews has built a career which has seen her travel Australia, Europe, Canada and Brazil with her band. As an artist that crosses boundaries and melds influences into an earthy, rich and dynamic sound, her music feels like it could come from the soulful blues and gospel-tinged Delta of the Mississippi, from the steamy Country bayous of Tennessee or the rock highway of blue-collar Philadelphia. Throw in her Polynesian heritage and what fans have discovered is a tapestry of stories that paint pictures that will captivate the spirit and the mind. Karen has that husky, raw and powerful element underpinning her voice which lends it an emotional balance rarely found in artists these days. It drips with the poignant context and history of a Polynesian girl growing up in the industrial city of Wollongong South of Sydney. Her Polynesian culture itself is a musical story. From the church to the family, it is not merely entertainment; it is deeply intertwined with identity, spirituality, and community. It serves as a repository for oral history, preserving traditions and stories passed down through generations. The communal aspect of music-making reinforces bonds among families and communities, making it a shared, unifying experience. With those fundamental undercurrents flowing through her veins, it is hardly surprising that she has made a place for herself in the music industry.
Kyle Lionhart
Kyle Lionhart has honed his craft and built an extremely loyal fanbase by busking on the streets and beaches of his hometown Byron Bay. Musically, Kyle’s sound has raised comparisons to the likes of Ben Harper and Matt Corby. His honest and poetic songwriting explores relationships of love, death, friendships and the often harsh realities around them. In February 2015, Kyle self-released his debut EP Keep In Mind. At a time when even major labels were struggling to sell CDs, Kyle sold out more than 10,000 copies. His music and reputation soon spread around the world thanks to the enthusiastic reviews of impressed tourists, and it wasn’t long before record labels began to notice the young busker, who was drawing crowds in the hundreds on the main street of Byron Bay. Kyle signed to Ivy League Records in 2016 and a year later released his second EP entitled Eleven & Two. The EP generated over 10 million streams and lead to a sold out national Australian tour, a European tour with Xavier Rudd and a debut London headline show that sold out within a week of going on sale. Following EPs Keep In Mind and Eleven & Two, Kyle released his acclaimed 2019 debut album Too Young, featuring streaming hits Sorry I’m Gone (feat. Emily Reid, Holding On and So Close. 2020 revealed standalone singles Beautiful Life, Dream It Right and a stunning cover of the Cranberries’ classic, Dreams. In May this year, Kyle released the single Shelter, his first new music in nearly 2 years, with extensive accompanying tour dates taking him right across the country. Kyle has amassed more than 60 million streams to date and has enjoyed sold out headline shows across Australia, also playing festivals such as Splendour In The Grass and Bluesfest and opening for Xavier Rudd, Foy Vance, and Niall Horan.
Lightnin Jack
Lightnin Jack was literally born for the music, brought up on small holdings in a Jarrah Milling Town of Southwest Western Australia, raised on a diet of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Creedence, Lead Belly and local bluesmen, an upbringing that’s reflected in his evocative, soulful music and adds a discernible touch of authenticity to everything he does. Busking and bootlegging CD’s were just the beginning, with Jacks career spanning the last 3 decades and bringing the release of three studio albums, and 2023’s rollicking “LIVE” recording. 2025 is bringing the highly anticipated release of Jack’s recent Studio Album – TONE RIVER - featuring his full band including Graham McLelland of Blue Shaddy on Harp, Callum Kramer from Southern River Band on Drums and backing vocals, Steve Searle on Brass and Bass from Shane Carrol. Little Birdy
After a long hiatus, Little Birdy are back on the road for an illustrious tour celebrating the 21st anniversary of their iconic debut album, bigbiglove. Since their inception in 2003, Little Birdy has captivated audiences with their live energy and a sound that blends indie rock with a unique vulnerability. Honing their iconic sound in the Perth music scene, the band quickly skyrocketed to national and global stages, establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with. Now in 2025, frontwoman Katy Steele is joined by original band members Simon Leach and Scott O'Donoghue to perform the classic songs that defined their sound.
Martin Lee Cropper
Authentic yet original 1920s style Mississippi Delta & Hill Country Blues played on National Guitars. Martin Lee Cropper is a Bridgetown Hill Country Bluesman rambling the south west, drawing inspiration from the hypnotic grooves of the Mississippi Delta and channelling them into a set of Deep South Country Blues.
Matty T Wall
From sweet blues to gritty stomping blues-rock beats, and now having eight nominations in the prestigious Independent Blues Awards in the USA and three back-to-back Number One Australian Blues albums, this is an artist you do not want to miss. Matty T Wall returns to the stage for the new decade, more motivated and addictively electric than ever with two rhythm legends of the scene, Ric Whittle and Leigh Miller and the new Live album - LIVE DOWN UNDERGROUND. Matty and the band are fresh from wowing audiences in their 2024 European Tour where they left an indelible mark, flooring audiences and prompting follow up headline spots at future festivals. Melody Pool
Melody Pool arrived on the Australian music scene with 2013’s The Hurting Scene, which The Australian declared Album of the Year, with the late-great music critic Iain Shedden calling it “one of the most accomplished debuts by an Australian singer-songwriter for many years”. Rosscoe Frantz
Rosscoe Frantz is a folk singer song-writer based in Perth, Western Australia. Surrounded by surfers and musicians whilst growing up on the Perth coast, Rosscoe naturally took to self expression through songwriting from the time a guitar found its way into his hands. From cutting his performing teeth as an acoustic duo to fronting a folk rock band, Rosscoe has found a new voice as a solo act after the release of his singles ‘Banshee’ and 'Mountain to Maze' in 2024 and has taken the music scene by storm. Salt & Steel
Salt and Steel offer a raw, earthy rock experience, blending psychedelic elements with the grounded essence of rock roots and blues. The couple live full time in their van, ‘the solar powered recording and rehearsal studio’ and have performed at festivals across Australia like Woodford Folk Festival, Party In the Paddock and Airlie Beach Festival of Music. Known for music that is ‘fierce, emotive and genuine,’ Nkechi Anele from Triple J Roots ‘n’ All describes them as a ‘dynamic duo who go from strength to strength, bringing nothing less than power and passion to their music.’ In 2024 Salt & Steel took their project to the world with an East Asian tour, captivating audiences at 'Kahilwayan Festival' in the Philippines and 'Its Garage Fest' in Cambodia, before returning to announce more headlining shows at Townsville Folk Festival and Airlie Beach Festival of Music. They finished a strong year by releasing a festive track in December. The two are starting 2025 strong with an Australian national support tour with 'Wheatus'. This will be followed with their own headline tour across the country to Western Australia and to festivals such as Nannup Music Festival.

Stellar Moon
Bold & powerful presence, music & message. Nyikina artist from the Kimberley, Stellar Moon, transports us on a journey of liberation. Strong vocals, funky riffs, country-rock overtones with a heap of soul, Stellar sings about freedom in all its facets; freedom of mind, social conditioning & inherited wounds, inspiring deeper connection to self, Country & culture. After decades in cover bands, in 2020, Stellar Moon began sharing her original music. She has since toured Western Australia extensively each year playing at festivals such as Bunuru Festival, Sunset Sounds and The Nannup Music Festival and played her first interstate shows in Victoria in 2025. Stellar Moon released her debut album ‘Phases’ in March 2024 and supported Aussie greats such as Emily Wurramara, Daryl Braithwaite and The Waifs.

ABBE MAY spent her late teens and early twenties performing in Australia’s most notorious rock venues and busted up studios, touring relentlessly in unreliable tour vans in various solo and band incarnations. With sly humour, Abbe graduated from her critically acclaimed early explorations of rock and blues to become a guitar-slinging, beat-driven, iconic performer with an atmospheric cocktail of fat-fuzz laden alt-rock and blues. A champion of the LGBTQIA+ community, Abbe is a multi award-winning artist, having been nominated for over 40 ARIA, WAM, AIR, AMP awards and so far winning 27, she is one of the strong women of the Australian music industry with much respect across radio, blogs and venues around the country. Her impressive career as an independent, original artist boasts many highlights including touring extensively as the hand-picked guitarist for Peter Garrett’s Alter Egos in 2016/17. Tanya Hemi
Tanya Hemi is a solo guitarist, singer-songwriter and loop mixer, who layers harmonies with catchy melodies. She was born and raised in rural New Zealand but has spent several years travelling and living abroad, and now proudly calls Perth home. Tanya started out performing in Māori kapa haka groups as a child and was later introduced to the drums at high school. She learned to play by ear – picking up patterns and practicing until she memorised the tune. With influences like Adele, Nahko Bear, Trevor Hall, Xavier Rudd, Etta James, Aaron Neville, Matt Corby, Kim Churchill, John Butler, Tash Sultan and many more, she has naturally gravitated towards writing and singing her own songs. While living in Melbourne for a few years she spent all her time creating and performing with her older sister in cafes, bars, and open mic nights. It was from here her confidence in performing her own music swelled. Tanya continues to write songs about cultural differences, love, home, and life struggles, which she says is very therapeutic process. Tanya works full time and devotes every spare moment to writing, creating beats, and performing them around Perth. She is currently channelling her energy and focus into collaborating with local WA artists and recording her own

Perth-based 70’s infused rock ‘n’ rollers The Satisfaction have been making some serious noise in the last 18 months. They are a band on the up and at an alarming, with a live show to match any, leaving you breathless just by being in the same room as this energetic four piece.. They have now released their latest single and video for ‘Bleed’, a slow driving powerful track which encapsulates all The Satisfaction are about with Bonham-esque drum fills, and vibes from heavy hitters such as the Black Crowes & Dirty Honey.
The Sisters of Corn and Daun
The Sisters Of Corn and Daun Crozier have been performing together for a dozen years and running their popular monthly Sing-along Gospel sessions at St Paul’s Church, Bridgetown, for the last seven years. The sing-along sessions are uplifting and joyous and leave everyone wanting more. The Sisters of Corn and Daun perform an eclectic mix of country, gospel, pop and folk including original songs and classic covers. The Bridgetown based trio is a regular around the Southwest playing at festivals, cideries, taverns, wineries and community and private events.

Since 2022, The Southern Right Blues Band have been making waves on the South West and Perth Blues scenes with their rollicking and smooth Blues classic covers and originals. We’re five mates with one common musical goal – to have fun playing the music we love! Having represented the Albany Blues Club on the Blues at Bridgetown Street Stage in both 2023 and 2024 – as well as busking around town, supported Toby Beard and her band, been a part of the inaugural Statewide Blues initiative at Perth Blues Club in 2024, taken to the main stage at South West Blues Club and been regulars around the Albany pubs and taverns as well as releasing both live and studio recordings – we’ve had a busy few years!
