Boy & Bear
Frank Sultana
Over the last 15 years, east coast bluesman Frank Sultana has become a favourite on the Australian blues scene. He has released 16 recordings in that time, and lapped the country many many times. Performing his authentic brand of blues, thats grounded firmly in the pre WW2 Mississippi Delta styles of greats like Son House, Skip James and Blind Willie Johnson to name a few In 2023 he became just the third artist outside of North America to win the prestigious Memphis International Blues Challenge and in doing so carved his name in Australian blues folklore . He has since returned to the US on 4 occasions, performing in Colorado, Nevada, Florida , Tennessee and Mississippi. This year he will spend August and September in Canada for his first tour there He will be bringing his award winning blues band to Bridgetown.
Rachelle Coba and Nico Wayne Toussaint
Rachelle has consistently brought the house down to cheering audiences around the world by bringing her own high-powered brand of Blues; from soul, to country, to uptown, onto the stage. Rachelle’s take on the blues is unexpectedly honest and mesmerizing. Nico Wayne Toussaint: one of the top harp players and singers of his generation, applauded both in Europe and in North America Nico's shows are renowned for their energy and infectious joy. Trained in the school of American blues clubs, which he has been attending since the age of 19, he has developed a unique approach to the stage where energy, charisma, harmonica and feeling are backed up by a tight and efficient band.
Deak Harp & Quicksand
Deak Harp and Quicksand are an energetic Delta blues duo featuring Deak Harp (harmonica and guitar) and Rickey "Quicksand" Martin (drums). Hailing from Clarksdale, Mississippi, they are well-known for their raw, "juke joint" style of Hill Country and Chicago blues. Deak Harp has been playing harmonica since he was 12 years old. His biggest early inspiration came when his brother introduced him to the music of James Cotton. Deak followed Cotton’s band along the east coast for close to five years before Cotton offered Deak a job driving his van. For the next six years, Deak toured with the James Cotton blues band, eventually opening acts and playing along with “Superharp” himself. Deak has since played with multiple bands and has shown his flexibility as a musician in the varying styles of his performances. From the classic blues standards, to Chicago blues, all the way to Mississippi Hill Country blues, Deak’s repertoire continues to grow.
19-Twenty
19-Twenty hit the stage like a runaway freight train — loud, fast, and impossible to ignore. Backsliders
Bluesfest regulars, the legendary Australian blues band, Backsliders return in a re-invented format following the death of long-time drummer and songwriter, Rob Hirst. Three-time Sydney Blues Society ‘Traditional Blues Artist of the year Award’ recipient, Dom Turner, is guitarist, lead vocalist, and founding member. Dom has toured internationally and has a number of his international music collaborations including The Turner Brown Band and with US blues legends Phil Wiggins, RL Boyce, Sunpie Barnes and Kenny Brown. In 2024 Dom guested with both The Tedeschi Trucks Band and The Allman Betts Family Band. Joe Glover is one of Australia’s most innovative and dynamic harmonica and banjo players, and has toured and performed regularly with Backsliders in recent years. In the tradition of bands such as The Allman Brothers and The Tedeschi Trucks Band, the line-up will feature 2 drummers onstage—Rosscoe Clark and Hamish Stuart—both legends of Australian music.
Lloyd Spiegel Trio
14 time Australian Blues Award winner Lloyd Spiegel began performing at age 10 and has dedicated his life to creating a signature style that honours the traditions of the music he loves, while creating a link in the chain of its evolution. With 10 albums and a near non-stop tour schedule that takes him to North America, Europe, New Zealand and Japan, Spiegel performs over one hundred shows a year on theatre stages and major festivals across the world. Whether solo, or with his trio (Tim Burnham - drums and Lisa Baird - Trombone), the focus is on delivering a unique, captivating performance that crosses genres and generations, re-inventing the Blues by blending powerful vocals and jaw-dropping musical prowess with a knack for humour and storytelling. Ben Flournoy is an emerging voice in the modern music landscape, blending Pop and Blues with a touch of R&B to create a sound that is both timeless and fresh. Owen Campbell
Owen Campbell is one of Australia’s premier alternative blues/rock exports with 4 best-selling studio albums, 4 EPs, and over a decade of national and international touring. He’s a slide guitarist, a songwriter, banjo player, blues singer and more. The sort of performer you would expect to find in New Orleans blues joints, but in fact Campbell’s roots are in Newcastle, Australia. With his smouldering guitar work, gritty caramel vocals, and sublime rhythm section, Owen’s sound is best described as alternative blues and soulful cosmic rock. Beyond his chart success, Owen is also known for his powerful live performances, where he showcases his impressive slide guitar skills and emotive vocals. Fiona Boyes
Fiona Boyes is an internationally recognised blues guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. Featuring finger-picking guitar, and cigar-box instruments, her performances range across Delta Blues slide, gritty Mississippi riffs, to intricate country blues and heartfelt ballads. As a USA reviewer said, ‘There are many blues musicians who keep the old songs alive, but far fewer who write new songs of revealing imagination to freshen up the genre’. Fiona is the only Australian musician to be honoured by the USA Blues Music Awards (American Blues Foundation, Memphis), with 8 nominations including 2019 ‘Traditional Female Blues Artist of the Year’. Charlie Youngson Trio
Hailing from Bridgetown, WAM award nominated songwriter Charlie Youngson is a young, Fremantle based blues-folk artist whose set brings a unique blend of high energy technical guitar work and folky storytelling. From playing at Optus Stadium, to opening for artists including Ash Grunwald, Kim Churchill, Steph Strings, Vika and Linda Bull and more, Charlie has been making waves as he’s broken in to the Perth music scene. Coming off the back of their debut nation tour, Charlie will be joined by his band, featuring Owen Loaring on bass and Toby Keeffe on drums. Growing up in Bridgetown, Charlie has been coming to the festival since he was 8 years old, so it is a true honour to be back playing once again.
Andrew Winton
For years multiple award-winning Andrew Winton was a WA favourite at Bridgetown Blues before taking a break from the industry. Andrew has toured the US multiple times, including an invitation to play SXSW in Austin Texas. Andrew has also played many national festivals since the early 2000s. Playing his double neck, 13 string lap slide carved from a cypress tree root from the deep south of the US, Andrew plays various forms of blues, with high musicianship, driving rhythms, memorable songwriting and humour for an always engaging audience experience. He has supported Harry Manx, Ash Grunwald, Jeff Lang, Diesel, Birds Of Tokyo,10 CC, Beasts of Burbon and many others over the years.
El Diablo
EL DIABLO delivers a high‑energy, authentic tribute to the greatest boogie blues band on the planet. Covering the full evolution of ZZ Top — from the early Texas blues era to the neon‑lit 80s hits and the heavy fuzz of the 90s and 2000s — the band brings the spirit, groove, and swagger of the Tres Hombres to stages across Western Australia. Russell Bond – guitar & vocals Neville Carrington – bass & vocals Steve Brooks – drums Together, they form a tight, polished trio with strong chemistry, authentic tone, and a genuine love for the music. The Art Of Dysfunction
"*Art of Dysfunction* are a Perth-based blues-rock outfit forged in the south of Western Australia, delivering high-octane rock ‘n’ roll with deep roots in blues, funk, swing, reggae, and soul. They’ve cut their teeth playing alongside Australian rock mainstays like *Electric Mary* and *The Radiators*, and took their sound overseas on a European tour in 2022 supporting blues icon *Michael Vdelli*. That connection stuck — the band later became Vdelli’s rhythm section in 2025 with two singles out. Anna Scionti is a powerhouse of modern blues. Based in Melbourne, Scionti has carved out a fierce reputation for her distinctive blend of blues, roots, and rock. Slide guitar, swampy grooves, and stories that cut straight to the bone. Toby Beard is a powerhouse singer-songwriter from Western Australia, renowned for her soulful voice, magnetic stage presence, and emotionally charged performances. Blending folk, blues, roots, rock, and soul, Toby delivers shows that audiences don’t just hear — they feel. From intimate venues of 50 people to festival stages of 12,000, she commands attention with a rare combination of authenticity, energy, and storytelling.
Mitch King
Mitch King is an Australian multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter with over 85 million streams worldwide, known for his electrifying one-man-band performances and genre-blending sound drawing from Southern blues, Australian folk, roots and alt-country. On stage, Mitch is a true one-man powerhouse—seamlessly blending acoustic and electrified guitar, harmonica, kick and snare drums, tambourine, and rich, commanding vocals.
Rhys Crimmin
Rhys Crimmin is a world travelling multi-instrumentalist one-man band, singer-song writer and teller of Australian stories. He covers genres from folk to country, blues to reggae and Celtic to bush music. Rhys has been touring and collecting music from different countries for over 20 years, blending it together with his own original music in a uniquely Australian style. He uses instruments such as guitar, didgeridoo, harmonicas, foot percussion and vocals. Rhys is an engaging performer who thrives on making a special connection between himself and the audience.
The Gray Brothers
Albert and Elwood Gray are brothers raised amongst the pindan and saltwater of Broome, Western Australia. Known for their blood harmony, crafted lyrics, guitar and mandolin interplay, and easy stage banter, the brothers have brought their folk-alt-country sound to national festival stages, intimate venues, and backyards across the country. From a young age, they’ve been inseparable from music—cutting their teeth busking at the Courthouse Markets, before going on to share the stage with artists like John Butler and Stephen Pigram at the Cable Beach Amphitheatre.

Authentic yet original 1920s style Mississippi Delta & Hill Country Blues played on National Guitars. Martin Lee Cropper is a Bridgetown Hill Country Bluesman rambling the south west, drawing inspiration from the hypnotic grooves of the Mississippi Delta and channelling them into a set of Deep South Country Blues.
Moondog Blues Band
Blues powerhouse Moondog performs solo as a one-man band or front-man of the Moondog Blues Band. He’s a master of the blues harmonica and a formidable guitarist/ singer/ songwriter. He shares songs and stories of his many journeys into the heartland of the Blues, where he spent over 10 years exploring juke joints, speak easy and blues bar from Chicago through to St Louis, Memphis, Mississippi, New Orleans, Nashville and parts of Texas. In 2015 he represented Bridgetown Blues at the annual International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN and in 2016 he performed at Chicago Bluesfest in the Windy City Blues Society stage.
Natural Boogie
Natural Boogie is the blues duo of Steven Keir (Chook) and Jorma Merilainen. Playing together for over eight years, they deliver raw, stripped-back blues driven by tight musicianship and genuine feel.
With two tours across Finland and Estonia under their belt, the duo performs mostly original material alongside a select few classic covers. Natural Boogie brings soul, groove, and authentic blues energy to every stage they play.
Blue and Bird
At their age, Blue and Bird should know better. Drinking, smoking, and playing rock ‘n’ roll only leads down one path.
Their debut single ‘Everything’ earned a 2025 WA Music Song of the Year nomination.
After releasing their follow up ‘For Your God’ with a raucous vinyl launch at Scarborough’s iconic Indi Bar, Blue and Bird have taken their show on the road, from Esperance to Bunbury, as well as a featured spot in the 2026 Nannup Music Festival lineup.
Its Forster’s unmistakable gravel rasp and too loud guitars against the drum god possessed tub thumping of Bird that proves some paths are worth stumbling down.
Tracey Barnett
Tracey Barnett is a West Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist delivering powerful, emotionally charged performances that hit straight to the core. Don’t Tell Daisy is an indie folk band born from the wide open spaces of Western Australia, with roots running deep in Popanyinning and Narrogin. The four-piece is powered by sisters, Holly (guitar, vocals) and Lottie (keyboard, vocals), alongside longtime mates, Harley (drums) and Kyle (bass, vocals). What started as a humble cover band soon evolved into a bold, original project, giving rise to the raw, harmony-rich sound that defines Don’t Tell Daisy.

The Sisters of Corn with Daun
